There are a lot of things need to pay attention to during the production and post-processing of woven labels. Especially, some widths cannot be produced by machines, so designers or producers need to care more about this in advance. These precautions are related to the design and production quality of the garment woven label. A tiny mistake form factory will cause a lot of problems in the design and production of the woven label. For example, some post-process cannot be done by machines, and only can take manual processing. This will increase the labor cost of production, which need to be noticed and avoided before design. The following are some limitations on the production size and colors of the machine-made woven labels.
Width Limitation:
Computer Weaving Type: The width requirements of it is with minimum 1CM. If it’s less than 1CM, will need to take manual stripe cutting. The reject rate is high with high cost. The width is basically with no upper limit requirements, the maximum width can reach 110CM.
Shuttle machine: The width is required to be between 1CM and 5CM, with a maximum of 5.0CM
Color Restriction:
Computer Weaving Type: The widest range of options, can weave up to 12 colors, including gold, silver, black and other metal yarn.
Shuttle machine: it can weave up to 4 colors (including satin base color), but for satin labels, it can only use rayon thread (not easy to be dyed in ironing process). Nor gold, silver, black or other metal thread can be used, as they are easy to break at high temperature. Otherwise, the ironing process is a special process of wood shuttle machine, cannot be applied by other machines.
