1. Hot stamping is not fast.
There are three main reasons:
a. Because the hot stamping temperature is low or the pressure is light, can adjust the hot stamping temperature and pressure;
b. Ink layer surface drying too fast and lead to crystallization, and the foil stamping will not be solid. Firstly, need to avoid crystallization, if it occurs, still can air press the print after heating, and then stamping.
c. The ink contains wax diluent, anti – adhesive or dry oily material.
2. Blurred text and pattern.
The main reason for this failure is that the hot stamping temperature is too high, the paper coating is too thick, the stamping force is too large, the paper installation is loose. The hot stamping temperature should be adjusted according to the temperature range of hot stamping paper. In addition, we should choose the hot stamping paper with thinner coating, adjust the appropriate pressure, and adjust the pressure and tension of the roller.
3. The text and pattern edge is not smooth and not clear.
The main reason for this phenomenon is that the plate pressure is uneven, mainly when the plate is not flat, so that the text and text force is uneven. Therefore, the hot plate must pad flat and solid, to ensure that hot stamping pressure uniform, to ensure clear text. In addition, if the hot stamping plate pressure is too large, can also cause the image and text imprinting is not neat. To ensure that the pad of the imprint machine should be accurately fitted according to the area of the pattern, no displacement, good movement. In this way, we will get a clean and neat pattern.
4. The pattern has no luster.
This situation is mostly because the hot stamping temperature is too high, the pressure is too large, or the stamping speed is too slow. You should moderately reduce the temperature, pressure, and adjust the hot stamping speed.
5. Hot stamping quality is not stable.
Using the same material, but hot stamping quality is not stable. The main reasons are unstable material quality, heating plate temperature control problems or the pressure adjustment nut is less crowded. The material can be replaced first. If the fault persists, it may be a temperature or pressure problem.
In a word, there are many reasons cause hot stamping failure. In addition to hot stamping temperature, pressure, and speed, but also pay attention to printing materials or replacement of hot stamping paper and other problems.
