1、Name and address of the manufacturer
When designing clothing tags, the name and address of the factory must be indicated which has been registered in the industrial and commercial department. Imported garments may be marked only with the place of origin, but the name and address of the agent registered also need to be marked.
2、Size and specification
It is required to mark the clothing specifications according to the new size standard, and the existing “S, M, L, XL” and old specifications are not allowed to use alone. The size should be marked according to the number (height) and type (chest circumference, waist circumference) of the human body. Considering the consumption habits of some consumers, it is still allowed to mark the old and new type at the same time, but the new type should be in front. For example, men’s suit jackets may be marked as follows: 170/88A(M).
3、Fiber composition and content
It is required to use standard fiber names. The common names and scientific names are not allowed on clothing tags; And the different parts of a garment of different fibers should be marked separately. For example, if the fabric, filling material and lining material of cotton cloth are pure wool, 100% polyester and 100 viscose fiber in order, it is correctly marked as Fabric: pure wool, Filling material: 100% polyester, Lining material: 100% viscose fiber
4、Product name
National standard name should be preferred, such as “men’s suit”; If the standard does not provide, should choose the name or common name will not cause misunderstanding, such as “casual pants”; “Peculiar name” and “trademark name” are allowed, but the normal name should be marked on the same part.
5、Product quality certificate
It requires clothing to have a certificate of quality, to express the guarantee of products have been inspected.
6、Product implementation standard number
It is required to indicate the serial number of the implementation standard of clothing, and to express to consumers the standards followed by the production and quality of clothing
7、Product quality grade
Clothing tags are required to indicate the grade of clothing according to the standards, such as first-class, A type.
8、Laundering instruction
It is required that cloth washing and ironing methods should be marked on the hanging tags, and the operation methods of washing, chlorine bleaching, ironing, dry cleaning and drying after washing should be marked in order to provide consumers with correct washing guidelines. The washing method shall be indicated by standard graphic symbols, and corresponding text instructions can be added at the same time.
